I have a good older belt drive 2 stage, 2 cylinder Campbell-Hausfeld compressor with a 5 hp motor and a 60 gal tank. But now, the second stage is not working. It runs good still but won't get above 100 psi.
So, I guess there is a valve broken inside that won't separate the 2 stages. Do you know if this is a minor repair and how to repair it?
What would you do?

Post the model number of the compressor or the pump itself and some member may have a breakdown or can find the breakdown parts list and maybe head you into the right direction in repairing it

I'd take the head off and look at it. Likely reed valves, pretty obvious and given it's
a name brand, likely valves are available. Costs nothin' to take a look.

Thanks for all of the tips. I might be able to find the manual that came with the compressor when it was new. I only saw a serial number on the compressor base, but not a model number. And, I remember that some commercial A/C compressors had reed valves that broke sometimes, so I understand what they are.
I can do this. Thanks, again.
