Advise on drill press restoration.

I bought an old bench top craftsman drill press. Nothing special about it except it has the chuck key tethered to it. But this thing is rusty. Surface rust where it should be shiny. Ideas needed for removing rust in places I can’t soak.

Pics will help determine what needs to be done. but my first thought would be media blast if there is no original paint left.

Agreed that pics will help, but I use bar keeper's friend and a toothbrush/ hand held wire brush on a lot of different stuff for hard to reach areas and the tables.
