What the hell would be the point? N.CA isnt a super high wind area where you may be able to avoid Tornado force winds or something.

To me it looks to resemble an airplane wing and they are just doing this to show that their company has the possiblity and mindset to build very interesting buildings, that is my take on it. Awesome none the less, I would like to see a shot of the roof that he mentioned.

I dont like it one bit. That would be a pain in the but to repair. Not to meantion when it rains your gonna have buildup of water all to the one side. Even though it flows off it will still add alot of eight to one spot. My other thing is why in the world would you not have a flow through desigen, that openingis gonna limit airflow. It also makes it harder for equitment to go through. IDK, thats just me.

Im all for cool designs, but that is too gimmicky and wastes a lot of space and usability.

Has a definite cool factor.
The CA central coast area is loaded all kinds unique architectural efforts. They're calling it a barn, hard to know how it will ultimately be used. With over 200 wineries in that area, wouldn't be surprised if it went that way.
Another angle.

I like it, if it does what you require of it then why not make it unique, not everyone wants a square tin shed. I love the copper roofing too, it'll mellow down to a lovely green in time.

I agree, I was not being critical when I said unique. Of course the copper roof would be top shelf..... hence costly. My bank account couldn't build it, I'm sure.

N. CA. ???

i think you're trying to say;

N-O-R-T-H-E-R-N C-A-L-I-F-O-R-N-I-A

and that's how to spell it
try it, it's fun to spell things out
and you avoid confusion

or is it something else, like northern canada:lol_hitti

Now I know see why you were exiled to NJ (I mean, N-E-W J-E-R-S-E-Y)...! :bounce:
