I'm looking for a rack that is less than 19" in width. I've checked my usual online resources but I can't find one that fits my size restraints. I'm hoping some of you have some better resources than myself.

I'm planning on attaching it to the side of my Kennedy roller, which is why it needs to be 19" or less.

Just to clear up any confusion on what I'm looking for:

Look in the automotive section at WallyWorld. They will have them. As far as the brand, I am not sure at the moment. You may have to look around in the aisles though as I have seen them in the tool aisle too, but most are in the automotive section.

Two of those click in at 19in. I have a couple, they're in red hammertone. They spend most of their time stuck to my garage door.

I'll check those out this weekend. I'd rather not use something magnetic. I'd like it to look a little more permanent, like it was made to be there.

I'll have a look! Thanks!

I'd rather have one made from steel, but thanks for the idea.

I bought mine from Mac a long time ago and it still works great!

No MAC for me. Wrong industry! :bounce:

Maybe look into making one? There's some guys that advertise on craigslist here for laser cutting. Laser out a piece of sheet and bend it up, Kennedy sells the brown paint in cans, voilà!

If you do this please post it up, I'd love a can rack for my future roller.

If a brake was easily accessible to me, I would definitely attempt to make one. It's also a good excuse to purchase a brake, however I don't have a place to put one yet. :)

Well, I did some more looking around and found a couple of options. However, I couldn't find one with the individual spaces like I originally wanted.

Two options from VIM Tools. One hold-up with these is I can only find them in red. The VIM 2011 Catalog shows them in Black which I could live with, but the red I would want to paint. I suppose I could order direct from VIM but I'd be paying MSRP.

This is the only holder/rack I've seen that has the high side on it. Not quite sure why it does, but I guess it's not a bad thing.

This one is marketed as an 'Accessory Tray' but it would hold aerosol cans as well.

This one is on eBay and it would seem it's been recently added, because I looked all over eBay originally. I'm assuming the guy selling them makes them himself. This one is plain galvanized steel, but he also sells painted ones in most popular tool box colors.

Lastly is this 'All Purpose Shelf' from Pit Pal.

Any thoughts?

I made my own with a piece of Home Depot sheetmetal, a hole saw and two pieces of angle iron clamped in a vise as a break.

I even got all fancy and drilled a small 1/2-inch hole through the top plane and put a piece of hard metal brake line in it to hold my little red straws.

Well, I kind of gave up searching but I was piddling around online the other day and stumbled across this from Huot.

The mounting holes lined up perfectly with the holes on the side of the cart, and best of all it's Made in USA.
