AFCI Neutral Overcurrent Protection Question

Do the double pole AFCI breakers (Siemens/Murray) provide overcurrent protection for the neutral conductor? Wondering if this would help prevent some of the potential disadvantages associated with MWBC's.

Overcurrent protection for the neutral conductor?? No...the ungrounded conductor is the only line that is overcurrent protected. The neutral is ran through the breaker circuitry so it can detect line faults...
