After searching old posts, I still have a question

Another Lift post……great. I've read many of the posts on lifts and American versus the new imports. I'd like to buy a good used lift and have occasionally seen them on Craigslist, but now that I'm ready to buy, there's nothing around in a 300 mile radius. Many guys post on here you can pickup a good used lift for $1000-1500 and I'm good with that. Is there some industrial equipment websites I need to be hitting or where else can you look to find a used lift? I'm watching local auctions as well and have hit up the classifieds on GJ.

Might be worth checking with auto equipment supply companys in the larger cities within 600 miles of you. They usually snag up most good used lifts or have a few on hand at reduced costs, or be able to pass along a few leads.

Ended up finding a Challenger 39000. I got the instructions from Challenger but there is nothing in there on how tight to adjust the equalizing cables. How much tension do you put on the carriages through tightening the cables?
