Age of Snap-On intermediate box?

I also got a top box with drop down front, 6 drawer I think but no pic of that. It's in the same condition with the exact same badge.

Is there a date stamp on these? Also not sure I've seen the intermediate chest pop up before, is it tough to find?

Got bitten by the antique box bug recently.

My roller matches to the '54 catalog. I would agree with Oldtuleguy.

The badge tells me it's closer to 49 than 56. By the mid 50s that logo design changed.

Nice. They are tougher to find. I picked one up a few years back. They are solid boxes.

Yep. I have a roller with the same badge and I know it was made in 1949.

1941 k55, 46 k260, 53 kr358a stack, 56 or so switched to chrome logo, this one on kr300. No date code with chrome logo is usually 56 or 57, 58 on usually has date stamp.

So my boxes were made by snap on right?

And 15 years or whatever later MBC was supplying their boxes. During that time was Snap-On also making boxes or was there a period where MBC made them all?

I don't think snap on made any of their own boxes back then. 60 or so snap on started making at least the kra series themselves.
