Air Cat 1150

New to the forum
I was wondering if anyone has or used an aircat 1150 1/2" impact gun. I'm looking at getting one. Was looking at IR guns, snap on guns, and just found the aircat.
Also looking at air rachets as well really looking that the snap on Far7200, havent found any that compare to that as far as torque goes.
Any info would be great!

I was wondering the about the 1150 also. I know that the 1150 has a twin hammer, and Nitrocat's 1200K has a twin clutch, but they are both rated at the same torque output. So what would be the benefit of one over the other?

I purchased the 1150 2 weeks ago. And so far it is an awesome tool! Significantly quieter then most air guns.

That's why I like mine. It is also a quite a bit lighter than my older Snap On. A touch heavier than my IR2135Timax, but so much quieter.

Clutch impacts tend to deliver their full torque rating as soon as you fully depress the trigger. Hammer driven build torque over a slightly longer period. As a result it seems as if the clutch impacts are more powerful especially if you don't have an air tank that can sustain pressure and volume. Negatives of the nitrocat line are, harder to repair, and harder to use finesse on delicate/corroded fasteners. If you care about COO as well Nitrocat are made in Taiwan, Aircat are assembled in USA. Either are great for the money being damn near as good as anyone else's flagship impacts.
