Air Chisel - Make is ???

This came in a grab bag of tools I picked. It's old but still works. Any idea on who made it? The only markings on it are "B9855"

I had an old Big "A" generic/house brand that looked a lot like that and had the same weird retainer.

If I had to make a guess (mind you this is only a guess) I would say it was made overseas and the adhesive label came off. A lot of companies can order those air tools and have the manufacturer just print labels. The better air tools will most likely have their names stamped into each air tool.

if it still works, it's all good.

i have a central pnuematic pad sander i paid $19.95 in '78 that still works fine.

I used to be shipping supervisor for CP (chicago pneumatic) years ago. It looks a lot like one we used to label and package for sears. But, i can't say it is for sure. It's been too long.

Looks kinda like a campbell Hausefield. If it works, who needs to know?
