Air compressor air filter

I am going to redo the intake on my compressor, hopefully to make it quieter. The question I have is what kind of filter would be best, a k and n or a foam filter like a uni.

Neither one of those are silencers. They do a good job of filtering but not quieting. Google "Solberg air filters" and choose something.
