I'm a bit new and new to the forum, so I apologize for the questions if they seem odd. I have never owned an air compressor this size before. I have owned a 25 gallon direct, but not an oil. I recently bought this air compressor and have a few questions about it. I have tried to call the manufacturer today, however nobody answered the phone after several attempts which led me here.
First question. In this picture is the oil fill "breather". It keeps bubbling. I know if I remove this part there is a constant air coming from inside and that the ball bearing I would believe should stop this air flow preventing loss of compression in the air compressor. However it just keeps on popping or making a bubbling noise until the compressor is out of air. This would leave to believe there is too much blow-by? from the piston or valve. So I guess I would ask is this normal?
Second question would be for the other pictures. This valve I will call it just leaks. I have tried adjusting the pressure screws and it just leaks anyways unless I leave it unplugged as it is in the photo. It is the one that I'm pointing with my finger and goes back into the compressor. I unhooked it and the compressor seems to work fine, however I believe its important so I'm waiting on some answers before I use it again. I have looked underneath where this valve screws in and it is properly aligned, there is no problem with the valve itself. It's just that the object that is supposed to push on this valve incase of an incident is too low? Sorry for the poor terminology this is new to me.
Any answers would be welcome. Thanks
