Hi Everyone

I have few air compressor lubricator personally I prefer use few drops of oil in my tool before use so I was thinking to modify the lubricator ( removing the pick up hose from the ball and close the screw all the way in )and insert silica gel inside the ball so it can be use as desiccant I would like your opinion on this or any suggestion on how utilize the lubricator
Thank you for your help

I don't think silica gel could work quickly enough to provide drying? Perhaps I dont understand the question.

my set up is this
compressor located in the attic
5 feet 3/4" pipe down to shop a tee on one side of tee 5 feet pipe back to attic on the bottom side of tee is the drop leg for drain from the attic I have 30' of 3/4" black pipe to the first drop than 20' more of pipe for my second drop each drop has is own drop leg for drain and a regulator coalescent filter installed
My second drop it will be used for plasma cutter and sand blaster cabinet line this is where I want install the modified lubricator as an extra drying stage
My question was if a lubricator full of desiccant will help any or is a west of time and desiccant
