New air line and a package of new fittings. New fittings don’t fit my old fittings.
Have they changed?
I didn’t get the memo.

There are different standards. The brass one on the bottom is commonly called an "industrial" quick connect fitting. The one on top is "ARO".

If you’ve never paid much attention to them.. you may be better off forgetting about this thread.

Definitely, and I mean for sure, don’t start looking into the vast air flow differences between the different types that you now know exist. It’s a quick and easy way to ensure you install type V’s in all the places

I’ve had this tray of parts for years.
Funny how I’ve only been exposed to the one type. Now I need to make an adapter or change a lot of fittings.

Change that one new one to the normal style or get a universal female coupler.
I wouldn't bother doing much more then that, it should only be the one off thing thst comes that way.

Sure wish I had a bunch of the Aro push to connects to replace all mine. I just hate having to pull the sleeve back to connect.

I'd like to know who the scumbag was that thought it was a good idea to change .45 ACP brass to accept small primers because I would bash their head in with a hammer. :)
Really aggravating!! Same with 10mm, why TF do they have to screw with these things…? I set the SP stuff aside for a rainy day…

I have a can of various fittings for hooking my coolant pump off customer's shop air. Seems everyone uses something different.

Yes, that is almost as bad as having to hold the button down until the window is ALL the way up!

(just kidding)

The air gods are ******* with me.
I thought I had M and A plugs so I bought a M/A coupler. Only works 7D1D1EE9-5E9F-4712-AF86-1AF254C9BA24.jpegon M, not the A’s I have.
I’m tempted to toss anything other that the M’s in the scrap

I really hate that there is no go to standard. They are just fittings! Nothing more aggravating than taking my personal tools to my bosses shop and almost nothing works right.
