Air Compressor Hard Line for Cooling Idea

I'm sure someone here can point me in the right direction.

I was researching air compressor filters and I found that in order to effectively filter water out of the line, you should have 15-30 feet of line before the filter so that the water can fall out of suspension.

Now I only have a one stall garage and running 15+ feet of hard line around the perimeter of the garage seems kind of silly, so I was wondering if this idea would work.

I was curious if I were to run hard line in a zig zag pattern between a couple of studs if it would have the same effect as running a line out horizontally like most people probably do. I attached a crude drawing of my idea.

Could this possibly work or is not realistic?

Yes it will but you want to run the lines vertically instead of horizontally to allow the water to be drained. Put a drip leg at the bottom of horizontal lines.

Are you suggesting running pipe the way I sketched in my attachment? Wouldn't water collect at the bottom of each zig-zag then?
