Air Compressor Head Bolts

I have a IR model 242 type 30 compressor , replaced the head gaskets on the small cylinder and was wondering if anyone knew what the torque is for the head bolts. They are 3/8 bolts, I tightened them evenly for now but would to get it right so I don't have any leaks. Thanks

Hopefully you can get the info from IR. If not, you can find generic charts listing TQ #s by bolt size and thread pitch. Be sure to find one that lists dry or lubed installation, what lube, and also the material you are screwing into. I don't know if you are going into cast iron, steel, or aluminum, but they may have different TQ #s.
