New to this forum, but I have noticed that there is a large amount of knowledge here. So, I picked up this air compressor for $100 as I am looking to paint my first car. It runs great, but I have no idea what it is and the other part I can't figure out is where to drain/refill the oil..... Any input would be greatly appreciated.IMG_4801.jpg

Thank you! Motor is currently wired for 110V on a plug. Tank seems good. It holds pressure and nothing ugly comes out when I drain the air....

Another question, is this compressor a single stage or two stage? How would I tell?

Look familiar to me. This thing is 40 years old and still works great. Speedaire. First pic is with original tank. Replaced it when I got a pin hole.IMG_1319.jpegIMG_1692.jpegIMG_5003.jpeg
Hi Tarmy, a 20g I just picked up looks identical to yours except it is a Dayton. May I ask how much PSI yours gets up to? Mine makes it up to 100 before shutting off automatically. The motor on mine is Model No. 9K322P.

P.S. I currently have it set up for 115v - no 230v available yet.

I think Dayton and Speedaire are the same…not sure. Mine gets to 120/130 on 240v
