Air Compressor Junction Box

Looking for ideas on adding a junction box for a mag starter on my upright compressor. How to attach it, what brand to use, any tricked out features, what did you guys do? Pictures always appreciated! thanks

Try browsing the "show your compressor" thread. I have seen some brackets fabricated out of angle iron welded to frame that the motor is attached to. You don't want to weld directly onto the tank shell.

Some of the guys have put in an hour meter to keep track of oil changes.

Some have also used lights to show the compressor is still powered or tie the power into a light switch...both of these options are to keep the compressor from running while they are not in the shop.
