I have a 60 gallon compressor that I like to keep full at all times.
Recently I tried to upgrade to a 80 gallon tank but ended up not being Able to work out because of the way it mounted
Now that I have put it back like it was, I have a leak. I have tried spraying windex at the connections to find the leak but have been unsuccessful
Any suggestions to help find the leak?
I have a valve just outside the the tank that i shut off so it is not down stream in a hose or coupler or anything like that
The drop I would consider large. When it shuts off I kill the breaker so it will not re-start. In 24 hours it goes from 125lbs to 20lbs
I did not re-apply Teflon tape to connections
I do not have a valve between the tank and the pump. It is just galvanized piping with a coupler.
I do have a shutoff valve after the tank
I have tried spraying the glass cleaner around all connections at full pressure and have no leaks
Prior to this, the compressor had no leaks. I would leave the power on all the time and it would not turn on for weeks
Since I did not mess with the drain valve I did not check any connections I did not disconnect
