Hi all. I've done the search function and have'nt come up with anything, I was wondering what material the blue lines are that some have used to plumb there air compressors with? I can't tell from the pics but they don't appear to be rubber. Also would pex lines work or is there generally too much pressure for pex lines? Thanks for any info that you can share.

The stuff I have posted about we installed here at work is extruded aluminum. Came from these guys.

We used over $5,000 in parts from the Ifinity line. We ran a lot of pipe.

But I know they have a cheaper homeowner ling.

I know trans air piping sells the plastic you are talking about. My dad's old shop actually had it. It was costly to get all the adapters, lines, and everything else. Pex may work. I have also seen grey plastic electrical conduit used before as well. I just have a line to my compressor then run it thru an air dryer then thru the dewalt multi port manifold. From the manifold I have my hose reel and can add additional lines right off the manifold. I have a 60 gallon compressor and do lots of sandblasting thus the air dryer.
