While trying to air up trailer tires I found a problem in trying to up 5 PSI to reach 50 lbs. Checked compressor gauge that set on 100 PSI. Drained tank in last 2 days ? Never checked drain pipe at at all aux. connections. Any ideas????????????????
My problem is that 48 lbs was all I could get in any tire on trailer which requires 50 lbs.
TIA

Have you varified that your local tank pressure gauge is reading correctly. Bleed off the tank and see if zeros out. some of those compressors have a lot of vibration and can foul up a pressure gauge.
Your regulator may be bad also. See if your pressure gauge is set to read upstream or downstream of the regulator.
