air compressor location

So I am about ready to spray some primer on some car parts. My garage is long & narrow - about 14'x50'... The car I am working on is in the back half. Air compressor is in the front half which is where I would be spraying some parts. I do have a window by the air compressor which I could open. So how far away from the air compressor should you be when priming in a garage? I have seen some people put a fan by the air compressor. Is there a danger of the air compressor igniting the fumes? If I fill it up and turn off, should there be enough air to prime the smaller parts? See photo below for my current setup & location - Thanks for any suggestions!:

Just check the compressor foam filters after you're done. Hard to tell but the water removing setup probably won't remove much moisture being it's on the air compressor.

I do have a de-humidifier running in the garage and it keeps it at about 50% humidity. My main concern is I won't blow myself up igniting the fumes. I will check into the foam filters though - thanks!

The main issue is the hot air the pump makes. The longer the air can travel and cool the more moisture your filters can remove. I'd at a minimum use a small desiccant filter at the end of the hose, I'm sure your hose has trapped water in it that will ruin your priming work.
