Air compressor muffler for rectangular port

I've tried searching with no luck so I'm asking here. I have an air compressor with a rectangular intake port and would like to add a muffler or extend the intake for noise reduction. The intake port can be seen in the attached picture. Don't really feel like fabbing something so i was hoping a product already existed.

A 3/4" floor plate cut down to a rectangular shape? A standard compressor filter will screw right in.

Don't waste your time searching for a ready made solution. Just grab a little piece of metal. Cut it to size. Drill two holes to mount it. Drill and tap the pipe threads. Then screw in a Solberg Filter/Silencer. A pipe fitting like mg283680 suggested should work.

I looked at the site for the same reason, and did not find it explicitly listed. I did find what you might be looking for as a part for the ABAC T29S pump called the filter adapter, reference number 43 on the picture. It's listed as part number 1400477 for $9.05. No idea if it fits your pump, but the picture looks right. Good luck.
