Hi guys, my name is Wes I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping to get help with nameplate of an air compressor I'm restoring.
It's Crompton Parkinson small single cylinder thing. On the tank there is riveted plate as per photo. (Yes, I know is not that very clear)
I believe it says: DP 896MPA, TP1 974MPA, DT300. And 8/74 which I believe refers to the manufacturing date.
Quite robust solidly Australian made tank, I'm now derusting with electrolisys. But this plate is so curious...
Not a big deal but maybe someone with greater knowledge about compressors could help. Many thanks!
