Air compressor not building pressure / leak when running

I am hoping the video link below works.

I am trying to troubleshoot what happened to my Cal Air Tools compressor, as this air leak only occurs when the compressor is running.
It is not from the hose or hose fitting, but appears in the piece in the video.

I am planning to send to the manufacturer as well, but figured I might ask here first.

Thanks in advance!

It sounds like the unloader is leaking more (or longer) than it should.

The unloader system should vent the air between the check valve in the tank and the compressor head so the unloaded motor starts easier. IIRC, the pressure control switch moves the little black arm up to the unloader Schrader valve and vents the air when the compressor pressure switch is satisfied and turns off.
Might be junk in the Schrader, or it’s loose. Or the tank check leaks through.

Unloader. Is it a new compressor? Which model? As others have said, that valve is supposed to be closed when the pump is on. When the pump turns off the valve opens to get rid of the air pressure in the pump head and line. A one way valve at the tank should keep air from leaking out the open unloaded valve. If the valve keeps venting after the pump shuts off you check valve is bad.
