What oil brand does everyone run in their air compressors. I have two options available locally...Powermate All Weather or Synthetic Formula and PORTER-CABLE Air Compressor Oil from another local store. I've used both with no complaints so far. Anyone else?

Husky which is just rebranded Campbell Hausfeld product and I get it because its convenient. I don't buy into the hogwash with compressor oil. My home pump is from the 1950s. Its probably been run on just about everything and is still going strong so I don't think adding ultra premium super gold compressor oil is going to do a damn bit of benefit.

Any good quality name brand NON DETERGENT 30wt oil will be just fine. No need to buy something that says compressor on it. I think my current bottle says Mobile.

One note, if your comp is outside or is run in cold environments you may want to run a lighter 20wt ND oil. But I doubt if that is an issue this time of year.

What compressor are you putting it in?

I just buy whatever compressor oil I can get my hands on at the local hardware store. Is the ultra synthetic stuff better? Ehhh probably. It's just an air compressor. Don't over think it.

I use hydraulic oil ISO 32 in just about every reciprocating compressor I overhaul or service. Never had a lubrication related failure. I've been at it for over 50 years. ISO is roughly equivalent to 20 wt. and I use it in my own compressor too. Change it every 500 hours.

Maybe for a 200 one. I'll spend the 11 bucks for AMSOIL synthetic in my 1500 dollar one.

I don't know much about compressor oil but I think ISO 32 is closer to 10wt. and ISO 68 is approx. 20wt.
I only know this because I was looking at the base oils in various greases tonight.
