My Kobalt 60-gallon said to use Mobil 1 10W-30 also.

Mine (CH rebadged as Husky, 80 gal 2 stage, few months old) recommends Mobile 1 5W30 or 10W30 synthetic. I ended up just getting the compressor oil from HD. Price was the same, or cheaper.

"Fill pump with single-viscosity,
ISO100, non-detergent, compressor
oil. Recommended ST126700AV compressor
oil or Mobil 1® 5W30 or 10W30
synthetic oil may also be used."

Use the Amsoil 20 comp oil in Indiana. Its good for 10 years for home/hobby use. Mine runs daily and I am on the 10 year plan, my neighbor a comp mechanic never changes his.

I've used Royal Purple ISO 100 compressor oil in my shop Quincy QR 325 since day one. I change it every 1000 hrs. which ends up around once a year...even though I KNOW I don't really need to, especially since the pump has a spin-on filter, but to me it's cheap insurance. The oil is still purple when I drain it!

All of our reciprocating compressors at work use Mobil Rarus 427. They see a lot of hours and regular oil changes and always work with no oil related failures.
I too use it in my R15 pump.
Not saying it's the best or nothings better, but, I've seen great results from it.

Royal is good too. 1000 hrs in a year is a lot. You have an hour meter on it?

Yes, I do! Luckily, my magnetic starter enclosure has enough room that I was able to mount it in the cover. Like I stated "around once a year", in reality probably more like every 14-16 months. The compressor services my 5 man fab shop in which any tool that can be air powered is, along with two CNC machines that gobble air.
