Hello, think this is my first post ,however I have been coming here for years to answer my questions, so thanks for that.. anyway my question is :
Even though im 99% sure i have this wired correctly i wanted to run it by you guys before I turn her on . I have the Line wired to the left side and the Motor to the right side. As far as im aware it doesnt matter which wire goes in top or bottom slot as long as the motor and power are on the correct side, but if course please correct me if i have that wrong.. there are no other markings other than the Ground symbol and " N over P " on both sides.. the other pressure switches ive installed always were marked motor 1 motor2 line 1 line 2 and ground or something very similar. Thanks in advance for any help..

Edit: this is just a cheaper Push pull style pressure switch

The wiring is fine, but may I ask what HP & voltage the compressor is? It could be the angle, but to me the size looks like it's over 7.5HP.

Depending on the situation, you may want to install a cheap motor starter. It can greatly prolong the life of your pressure switch contacts, especially if it's starting & stopping frequently

They can fail stuck-closed too, which can cause other parts to fail, like the motor itself. The blue tank makes me think this is a Quincy, which I believe most are rated continuous duty anyway.
