RamAir, used to be by SnapOn, 5 hp, single phase, 220 volt, 40 amp, with a pressure switch. I just replaced the starter with a GE CR4CJB/CR4G3WS, and it's completely different from the original, but they told me it would work. Also, I'm not an electrician, but I can run a screwdriver. I think I have everything connected, but I bypassed the overload reset because I don't know which posts to use. They're labeled by number, 95,96,97, and 98. It will start and run and cuts off at 175 psi like it always did, but now it won't start in until 115 psi, where it used to be 140 psi. I needed to know if wiring the pressure switch and coil wrong would do that ?? And also how do I find out which posts to use on the overload reset ?? Thanks.

95 and 96 are the normally closed contacts. Those are the ones you should use. 96 is normally connected to A2 on the coil.

You are right. I should proof read better. I'll fix my post.
Most pressure switches have two adjustments, pressure and differential. It sounds like the differential setting got changed.
