Gentlemen and ladies let these images be a reminder that we need to drain our air compressors every day.

After i cut it open and cut out the worst part i was able to run a couples beads with a band to seal the two parts and put the tank back into service as a resevoir tank without having to do any real clean up and fitment.




Kidding kidding. Im turning it into the burner for a smoker. Thats why the welds look like they took 2 mins cause they took a minute and half actually.

Yikes. I wonder when/if carbon fiber tanks will be affordable enough for consumer compressors.

That or aluminum tanks. And tanks that pool and water into a center low spot to allow quick and complete emptying of the tanks.
