Air compressor rebuild help

Hello all! I am in the middle of rebuilding my great grandfather-in law's air compressor. I have torn the unit down and they are currently sitting in a parts washer in simple green to clean everything off. The problems I am having is finding the manufacturer/ model number, so I can order new gaskets. Also the reed valves appear to be bent. I have bever rebuilt a compressor before and i have no idea what its supposed to look like. The only numbers i can make out are 24 W and 98983 i think. If anyone has any info about this i would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Cereal box gaskets and if it works, don't mess with the valves. I imagine it is pretty old and not supported with parts anymore, the id probably was a tag held on with one of the bolts and is long gone.

If you have a compressor shop near by, ask them. If not send your pictures to these guys:

Ditto on leaving the valves alone. And it looks like great-grandpa-in-law didn't run compressor oil in the crankcase. Be sure you do.

Thanks guys. I kinda figured parts were unavailable i wanted to try to rebuild this unit before i found a replacement head somewhere. Are the valaves supposed to be bent like that? Or are both sides suppoed to be bent.

That large valve on the side reminds me of something you'd see on a refrigeration compressor.

The valves are not bent as far as I can see. That angled bit of steel is to allow the reed to flex.
