Hey folks we recently got a new air compressor for the shop and I'm looking for a good regulator and filter for it. This will be for general shop use so I'm not looking to add an oiler. It's a Quincy QT-54 rated for 15.2 ASFM at 175 psi and has a 1/2" outlet.
I have the Eastwood Rockwood filter drier setup with a separate Milton regulator. I like it a lot, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it because the THB filters are in my estimation, the exact same thing but cheaper and more widely available. Also, eastwood doesn't offer theirs with an integrated regulator but the THB does and it's more elegant than the separate regulator.
Here's what I would get if doing it again.
Edit: In looking more closely, I guess I have the higher capacity version from eastwood which is equivalent to
this thb model. It is more expensive than the Eastwood but includes the regulator and the extra stage.
