Air compressor regulator orientation

Can a regulator like the one pictured be installed in any orientation?

The warning label mentions to avoid rust and scale damage, install a filter directly before the regulator.

+1 on orientation does not matter. It's a spring and a diaphragm. The only thing that matters is pressurizing the inlet.
