for the air intake/filter

GOTCHA!!! :lol_hitti

finally got around to ordering some repair parts for my old CM compressor, got it back together, and decided it would be a good idea to do something about the crappy little piece of foam they use for the intake "filter"

i already had the air filter laying on a shelf, and stopped by lowes for some PVC parts and a rubber coupler.

it's no quieter than before, but i think the filter doubled my HP :3gears:

Just be sure that you keep the filter clean. If not the excess vacuum could cause the PVC to implode and kill your intake valve and piston... That **** is deadly in a compressed air system..

Not only kill your compressor but I read a story about a pvc compressor intake pipe self destructing and literally killed a bus full of nuns and caused a 2 week outage of internet

You may need a larger breaker with all that extra HP :3gears:

i heard the nuns were volunteers for the humane society, and several puppies were scarred for life in the aftermath

i knew someone would be ready to light me up with a flamethrower :FIREdevil

i already installed a 200A breaker on the garage feed, and noticed when i kicked the compressor on both neighbors lights went dim..:rocker:

i originally was going to have it pointed up, but theres a shelf above the compressor in the way....

maybe i should cut a hole in the roof, and run it all the way up top...
