I received in todays mail the Craftsman Club sale flyer. In it they have a Craftsman Professional 80 Gal, 2-stage, oil lubricated cast iron pump. Rated 13.4 SCFM at 100psi, 12.6 SCFM at 90psi. $798.00 Does anyone know who makes this compressor for Sears? Do you think this is a good buy? Thanks for any suggestions

I think that Devilbiss (sp?) makes the oil-lubed compressors for Cman. I have an oil-lubed 110vac 25 gallon and love it. I would consider getting the one that you are looking at. But for the $$$$, I would also cross-shop the IR compressors at TSC.

Who makes your oil-lubed 110vac 25 gallon compressor; I know Snap On has one and Ingersoll Rand has the Garage Mate, but are very expensive .. :)

I have the porter cable version of the compressor you are talking about, sears rate the CFM a little lower or maybe detuned it. Not sure.
