Air compressor

I bought this compressor, the brand is " whisp Air".
It really is a referigerator motor but a heavy duty one, my concern now is that company doesn´t have that air compressor and the oil level is low and I don´t wich type of should be used in this type of compressor. Is it the same as te piston type compressor? The idea is to change the oil because who knows wich type of oil is in there from the factory.

ok! Besides the brand of the compressor. If you have a compressor made out of a refrigerator motor wich kind of oil would you use?

To start, why don't you post some pics so we have some idea what you're working with.

Whispair appears to be made by ABAC, an Italian huge compressor manufacturer.

But Whispair seems to have very little web info, and what does exist seems to be foreign based.

They do seem to be very small, not a shop compressor at all, but like for airbrush or maybe small tiny grinders like for engraving.

You're gonna have to dig to get your answer... I hope you had a good reason to choose something seemingly pretty obscure.
