air compressor

I have an air compressor when you turn on it's fine but when you use some air and the compressor reboots for more air, it locks up and blew circuit. I let all the air out works again but repeats cycle when rebooting. Can anybody help?

The unloader is not working. There should be a small copper line coming off the check valve fitting over to the pressure switch where a little tang sticks out and depresses a needle valve when in the off position, releasing the air off the charge line from pump to tank. Thats the likely culprit, next would look at voltage drop to motor on the circuit your running from, or the starting circuit in the motor.
