Air compressor

Hello i have a few questions i found this compressor local in town and had a few questions

i was wondering what it would take to upgrade the motor to keep up with the pump and possibly rebuild the compressor paint the tank ect...is it worth it to buy it and rebuild how hard is it to rebuild or should i wait for a better deal to come up?...thanks any one suggestions and tips are welcome thanks.

I'd say pass on this.

You always have to be leary of old compressors because the tanks can be weak. Years of having water inside takes it's toll on the steel. I have heard several stories of tanks exploding. That is something not worth taking a chance on.
