For now all you need to know is the one at Lowes on Sale for $299 is a MUCH better deal.

The USG seems like a decent compressor, but the price never impressed me much.

Since we're on the subject. For the past year I have been looking at the 80 gal 5.4 hp craftsman compressor at sears. I have read that most people don't like the locatation of the water petcock and have used an elbow and black pipe to extend it out where you can reach it and then use a ball valve to drain at the end. Also draining the oil is an issue. And for some reason they come with the outside faucet type valve leading out of the tank located at the top instead of mid level. I think replacing that with a ball valve would be easy enough. Does Devilbiss make this compressor? Any of you guys own this model, and do you run it hard?
