There are several recent threads about compressors. It may be more useful to post your question in one of the existing threads. I have the 30 gal single stage oil-less 6hp/1.5hp Craftsman that I use for portability and a 60 gal 2 stage IR for my "fixed" location, so I can't speak specifically to the model you're referring too, but I can say you should get the one with the highest cfm at the highest pressure you can afford.

A big tank is only really useful when your compressor can't keep up with the job you're doing. The greater the capacity of your pump, the smaller the tank you can live with.

What are you planning to do with it? If all you are going to do is air up tires a 60 gallon tank is overkill. I've been looking at compressors myself, I will probably get a 60 or 80 gallon 5 to 7.5 HP unit because I sometimes get into large projects. I also have a twin hotdog unit that I use for small quick stuff, It would be a PITA to pump up an 80 gallon unit for 10 PSI in a tire.

it takes a decent compressor to run a good da and paint gun, I wouldn't get anything under 60 gallon. Get the biggest 60 gallon you can afford....Ie the most cfm Also look for a compressor that runs the lowest rpm, It will last longer and being it's not trying to make cfm by speed it will be quieter. Look at the tag on the motor for the rpm's.

I have a Sears oil less 5hp compressor. It's about 8 years old. It can't keep up with a DA or grinder/cut off. 1/2 impact no problem. I wouldn't buy another oil less. Buy one that has the most CFM you can afford. A 220V would be better. Good luck 930
