I have been watching videos on YouTube where people are putting the Derale 15300 oil Cooler between the pump on their air compressor and the tank to cool the air from close to 300F at the pump down to below 100F at the inlet to the tank.
unfortunately the derale 15300 has 8AN connections which are 1/2 Inch tubing compatible, this is great for most compressors, unfortunately I have a harbor freight V shaped 5hp pump on Top of a Quincy tank. The outlet for the HF pump is 3/4 inch. I am having trouble finding an oil cooler that has 12AN connections which would be the size for 3/4 tubing.
The only ones that I have found are racing oil Coolers which are selling for more than I paid for the compressor.
anybody have any suggestions for a 3/4 or maybe even 5/8 tubing cooler that can be mounted on the compressor.
Thanks
Duke
