Air couplers type T (Tru-flate) vs type M?

Hey guys

I had bought some Milton type T air couplers because I thought they had more flow than the regular type M's. Is this a correct assumption? Now looking at their spec sheet it seems they flow the same?

What is the main difference between these two couplers and are there any pro/con differences to either of them?

Thanks,
Elliott

I sell these for a living so let me take a stab at answering the question. Between the Tru-flate or Automotive style and the Milton or Industrial Style there is no discernable flow difference. Originally the manufactures like Tru-Flate, Milton, Coilhose, Lincoln, etc were are regional and each area of the country was prodominately one style. As people moved around the demand became higher and the products were distributed nationally. I live in Northern Ca and this area is still close to 80% Trueflate. Why? They were started in Oakland CA.

Both styles work just fine. Pick one style and stay with it. Please purchase good quality USA mfg. units from Coilhose or Milton or Parker and you will have zero issues.

Use the Milton Type V high flow. You will notice a huge difference in tool power. Search the site for discussions on them.
