hey gang.

i was cutting up a small 7 gallon air tank yesterday with my sawzall and lets just say it wasn't easy :D.

what should i get for these type of projects to cut straight lines? the cutoff tools are cheaper but the grinders have more uses. i already have an air powered right angle grinder but i only use it for grinding.

which is easier to control? is one safer than the other? does cutting speed differ between the two?

my air compressor is an 80 gallon Quincy. thanks

Using a cut-off wheel on a electric grinder when cutting large areas with plenty of open area has proven to be must faster for me plus the power is more consistent vs a smaller pneumatic die grinder. Close confines are the opposite in my experience
