I'm looking at an air dryer that is rated for 125 cfm, any problems using with a compressor that is rated for a quarter of that cfm or less? The price is right.

i don't have any real experience with this, but heres my thinking on it.

i highly doubt there is any damage u can do to the dryer, but the reason why it is rated or a certian cfm is to make it effective. with out that airflow... the dryer will not dry properly.

Of course it will. The only disadvantages I can think of are the extra space it will take up, and the extra electricity it will consume.
