Air duct and vent cleaning

House is 20+ years old...we have lived here 4 years.

Do not believe the air ducts / vents have ever been cleaned.

Does anyone have wisdom to share?

We want quality, but don't want to get "upsold" a bunch of services we don't need.

Most likely not necessary unless you are having specific problems.

Many years of dogs in the house...wife really wants them cleaned.

Have you inspected them to see if they're dirty? With proper filter changes, the supply should be fairly clean. The return ***** up everything.

Is any of it internally lined with insulation?
