air filter pipe measurement help(?)

I need to order two air filters just like these for another old air compressor but I'm not absolutely sure what pipe measurement to order, tapered. They need to be the size here in these pics.

Ayuh,..... Looks like 1/2" pipe,.....

Looks like 1/2" to me as well. Do you have a ****** you can try?

Or carry it down to a local hardware store and try screwing another fitting on it.

These are just npt, just go google npt pipe size chart and take that measurement of ID or OD ? It would be close and you will get the answer

I checked and it is 1/2", I just wasn't 100% sure. OK, now I know for sure, thanks.
