Air filters

Well I have recently stepped my game up and got a 60 gallon speedaire compressor and been using it a lot more. Well I need to upgrade my filter set up also. I am going to be getting the HF air dryer soon but need to make sure everything else is good too. I am mainly powder coating and using the blast cabinet. Can anyone recommend what you have used and how you liked it.

Here's my hack - 1" pipe, small air filter and plastic adapter fitted on top of a mower muffler from TSC. The mower muff is threaded on the pipe, then a piece of 1/4-20 all thread used to mount the parts store air filter and reducer ring.

FWIW - testing with an iPhone dB app showed no difference in the sound pressure level between this filter and the bitty stock catfood-can looking thing.
