I feel like an idiot that this is confusing me so much. I have a 60 gal compressor with a 3/4 air outlet. I have a 3/8 50' hose. Can someone send me a link to a good high flow adapter to connect the 3/4 outlet to the 3/8 hose? Preferably a quick connect. Thanks- sorry for the stupid question.

The best adapter would be a bushing where you screw the hose to the tank. Keep your system down to a single QD at the tool end, and you'll be better off.

Yes, something like this pictured is what you're looking for. They may make 3/4 to 1/4 versions but otherwise you can just run a 3/4 to 1/2 and then a 1/2 to 1/4 inline. The orifice of the 1/4 male fitting on the hose is going to be the most restrictive part so these won't cause any additional restriction.

I agree on minimizing the number of quick release/plug combinations in the system but if you want, you can run either a milton "V" style QR/Plug or a "Full Flow" plug from Stedlin. Stedlin has a presence here on the forum and had made some videos showing that his full flow plugs function essentially identically to the Milton Hi Flow couplers while maintaining the ability to be interchangeably used with other automotive plugs.

I would add a valve before the bushing as well so you can shut off airflow to the hose. Important if you blow a hose/break a fitting and it's whipping around.

If you want it to come straight out just use a 3/4 close ******, 3/4 brass ball valve, 3/4 to 1/4 bushing and screw your hose in there. To keep it more compact add a 3/4 street elbow prior to the close ****** and then it will give it a 90 degree bend which could be perhaps somewhere to coil the hose on if you don't have a reel

Are you going to use a regulator before the hose reel?

While you're at it consider starting with 1/2" ball valve on tank side and then add a tee to split it to your hose and have another output with a quick connect. With or without regulators.

On my way too small compressor I have added a quick coupler before the regulator so I can get tank pressure when needed or plug in an extra portable tank.
