While replacing structural pieces in a car that was rear ended, i had to use my coworkers air hammer to access a few spot welds. He had just a run of the mill CP air hammer. This thing cut like a hot knife through butter! I had my tool guy order me one the next week he came in. Havent used many different types of air hammers but this was very well built. Not sure where it is made, anybody have some more info on CP air tools? CP7110K air hammer kit.

I have a CP gun from the time before they were made in china.
I have another for my primary but my CP still works good and I used it in a shop for a decade.
I'm not a fan of the chinese stuff.

I went with the CP 714 after reading favourable reviews, and it being made in Japan. When co-workers see it they usually roll their eyes because it's not a Snap-on or a MAC and the metal body reminds them of a cheepo one. When they see that it's dimunitive size and quiet operation is capable of doing the toughest tasks in the shop, they are often surprised. Way better trigger/hammering control than all others I've tried.
