I ordered my Bendpak HD-9ST last week and I wanted to make sure i have everything I need for the air requirment when my local dealer comes to install. Is the connection on the lift simply a 3/8" male thread that I can screw any standard 1/4" air hose with 3/8" fastener to, or is there a special part/coupler that I need to hook up the air?

Thanks guys... this should be an easy one but could not find it anywhere in the instruction manual!

Just screw a male air connector to the botton of the air inlet fitting on the lift and plug a standard air hose into it when you want to release the locks. We have a small twist regulator on it but it's not necessary. This one picture of the fitting is all I have.

^ actually that's the wrong spot, he's looking for the air lock to the left of the pump, but yeah it's just a standard air fitting thread as far as I remember.

I concur. Any hardware store male coupling will fit. Nothing unique about it.

When I am using my lift, I just take the female quick-connect at the end of the hose on a small 2 or 3 gallon compressor and plug it in. It's more than enough air and I can disconnect it at any time to use the air for tires and such.
