Air hose holders

I have a bad habit of putting things without a home on the floor along the wall. I’m trying to stop doing this. My air hose is one of those things. i have my shop plumbed with the RapidAir system. I could use a garden hose hanger. I also saw a system with a bucket screwed to the wall. The hose on the outside and things commonly used with the air hose on the inside
what other solutions have you used or seen?

I have plumbed 3 manifolds in my garage. One has a hose reel, one a garden hose hanger (both 50 ft hoses), and the last has a 25 ft. hose coiled on the floor, between the end of the bench and the wall.

Hose reel is a great item to have. For "loose" hose, I would use a garden hose hanger. I have slat walls in my garage, and have a ton of the 2 & 1 prong holders. I used a medium length 2-prong holder for my hose by the garage door.

Air hose reel is ok (but this is GJ so aren't we to re-purpose?) I guess everyone uses a car rim- I used a 1930's wire wheel (not sure what it was off of- Model A, old mopar) It will hold 50 ft of rubber air line- Looks pretty cool-

Got a 100' capacity manual reel on the swinging door for the garage. I need to relocate it quite a bit higher than I originally did.

I have a few of the "Curly" hoses that retract into a spiral. They are handy for blow off nozzles. I also use them as "Whips" for Brad nailers.

They are too small for my big paint spray gun.

I went with a manual hose reel because of all the problems I've read about with some of the automatic ones here on this site.

I used the garden hose holder. I bought one with a little door on it for holding garden hose attachments. Works great for air hose guns/chucks/etc.

I have a retractable air hose but I wanted to find a way to use old rim and hubcap. Here is what I put together for my other air hose.

I was brief in my earlier post.
One 100ft reel in my shop is manual, with 3/8in Flexeel.
50ft retractable on ceiling in front of a car that would be on the lift, also has Flexeel.
Also have a bent steel hook on one post of the lift holding 25ft rolled up 3/8 Flexzilla hose.
Each post of the lift also has a drop with coupling and a CoilHose Pneumatics 1/4in Flexeel 15ft Coiled stretch type hose to do quickie jobs, air gun etc.
Shop has second floor with open staircase and under the staircase on those screw in type bicycle hooks are all the Spare hoses and electrical cords hanging.
25X50 shop has 15 drops for air supply, don't think I am more than 15ft away from an air coupling anywhere in the shop.

I guess my suggestion is ALL of the above mentions so far. Easier it is to use the air supply, the more you will use it.

People say air tools are obsolete. Not really, if you have easy access to a supply, AND a supply that DOES NOT Leak. Air tools are cheap today because of the dwindling demand. M18 Batts aren't.

Not needing to run a compressor for 8min to fill up, un raveling a hose, use tool for 30sec, roll hose back up, put tool away. Forget to turn off the compressor... And then needing to get out of bed to turn off you running compressor because it Leaks.

How's that for a GJ suggestion on a Hose Hook?
